NIDA is mandated to develop, manage and/or offer industrial infrastructure for the advancement of economic activity focusing on job creation, import substitution of products and services and investment attraction.

The Agency manages 148 industrial estates and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) business parks, with well-developed water and sewer mains as well as lead road, air and rail improvements across the country, housing about 1080 enterprises.
